About Role

Head of Sales – Niche Leisure Company in London

My client is an ambitious leisure business operating in a niche sector of the industry. They provide Swim school programs across the UK and have experienced rapid growth in recent years and now look to a Head of Sales to continue this success by driving sales performance at all levels of the business.

Overview:

To proactively lead and drive sales processes, develop a sales and KPI focussed culture, be accountable for delivering budgeted sales targets alongside up-skilling key team member populations.

Key responsibilities:

·         To proactively drive sales in regards to generating new customer leads.

·         To evaluate, enhance and lead our customer referral programme.

·         Work closely with the IT Director to highlight key data and reports.

·         Support Regional and Local Swimming Managers with sales and commercial learning programmes.

·         Create a sales and core KPI culture throughout the business.

·         Create regular and effective communication channels throughout the business, especially with pivotal internal stakeholders.

·         Work with the Business Development Director to build up and develop strategic partners and our portfolio of venues via outreach (e.g., trade shows, conferences etc.)

·         Work with the Head of Marketing to develop pertinent local PR & marketing initiatives.

·         Work with the Head of Operations & Regional Managers to provide create local sales tool-kits.

·         Continually assess the sales process to seek out developmental opportunities for the broader business.

·         Create sales reports in-line with the reporting calendar.

·         Develop sales team through mentoring, leadership, performance and KPI management

·         Deliver sales targets to ensure student growth

·         Deliver individual sales targets and lead by example

·         Able to react to drop in performance by creatively implementing sales initiatives.

Person Profile:

·         Experience of inspiring and leading a sales function within the leisure sector

·         Evidence of planning and delivering a sales strategy

·         Strong Analytical skills / Interpreting sales data.

·         History of achievement in Senior Sales role

·         A demonstrable passion for health, wellness and ideally swimming.
